I'm not worried about STI because me and my boyfriend have never had any previous sexual partners, so it's just a case of avoiding pregnancy. We do it alot, possibly too often for people of our age, but its fun so i'm just thinking of maybe considering the pill, but i really want children sooner rather than later. So if i go on the pill and then off it, does that not lower the chances of conceiving?Any advice?

as far as i know..the pill does not effect chance of conceiving in the future. it only acts as contraceprion whilst you are on it..so i'd see no problem with using it for the time being.it's also pretty effective against preventing pregnancy. :)

I recommend that you see a doctor if you have any questions regarding contraception. Doctors can help you best. However, here's my grain of salt.
I understand your question to mean "your chances of conceiving later in life". I don't think that's the case. Some women have got pregnant even using the pill (though this is very rare, Nature sometimes likes to play jokes on people). Some women have got pregnant because they forgot to take the pill as they should. So, if you want to have children in the future, I don't think the pill will have any long-term effects on you.
However, I would keep on using condoms. I understand the pill is safe. However, on principle, I don't like messing with hormones and stuff. The condom won't mess with any body functions. The only complication can be an allergy, and we can rule that out since you've been using it anyways. Using the condom means you don't mess with the girl's hormones and doesn't do the guy any harm.

alot of people concieve differently. once you are on the pill say maybe for 3 years its still possible to get pregnant in the first year of being off them although it could take up to a year..and i bet it will be a while before you have a stable enviroment for a child so i would go on the pill for a while and once you have enough money stable home and relationship then go on and have kids.. hope that helps good luck xx
