writes: dear friend.I have been with my boyfriend nearly a year and a half. Not long I know, but my longest one yet. My boyfriend and his ex girlfriend text each other. He says he loves me and has no feelings for her, so why can't he just stop ringing her and stuff? Am I just being paranoid? I know I should confront him but I'm afraid I will lose him over this, cause I'm jealous. Please help; I'm going out of my mind.

 Talk to him about how you feel. They may just be friends but if it really upsets you then bring it up with your guy.

Hey I know it's hard but it's best that they are still friends rather than enemies. Which would you want? Have him worry that she may cause trouble for you both or keep talking to her and stay friends where he doesn't have that kind of worry? If you feel threatened by this other girl ask him if you could all meet for a drink try and get to know her, but do take a friend for support it worked for me. Hope all works out.
