Sorry I'm being a heartless squddie we leave our wives and girlfriends for 6-12 months at a time, so 14 days doesn't seem so long. But I can appreciate how you worry she might find someone else in your fortnight apart.
Just be careful, if you buy her lavish gifts every time you go away it could get very expensive. Especially if you move away to study or decide on a career on the oil rigs or the military!
Absence makes the heart grow fonder!
