A female Australia age 30-35, anonymous writes:

help! I've been with my bf a year now and I'm totally bored with it. I know we both feel strongly inlove with eachother. Our physical life is good however I find our whole relationship boring. No matter what I do for him and how good I make him feel he never makes me feel special. I always look my best and get many compliments from guys but getting one from him seems impossible. I want that feeling and i want for us to do things together. But when together he just wants to be at home. His never taken me on a date, won't take me to the movies coz no smoking. No beach unless his friends go coz I'm boring, what girl doesn't like to just relax in the sun in her bikinis? What does he expect me to do! I've asked to go on a road trip or stay in a unit (I offered to pay) but he says those things you do with groups of friends... I am sick of sitting at home arguing coz I'm bored! It's my bday soon and I want to do something fun! WITHOUT HIS FRIENDS. I'm out of ideas :( I want him to take me somewhere

scotfish agony aunthi, its quite sad that you don't feel special in your relationship, have you told him straight that you feel this way and want some affection? either way he is in the wrong if he doesn't want to spend time with you alone and doing normal things that a couple would do you might need to ask your self is this the relationship for me? hope he sorts his ways out or you find somebody more deserving on your love and attention
