A female United Kingdom age 30-35, *ouLee writes:

i'm friends with this guy that i havent known too long. At first we hated eachother but now we are very close. He flirts with me alot, for example, today he came up to me and 3 other girls and one of em said to him go away and he said i came over to talk to sarah not you, and i thought 'okay he wants to talk to my friend not me' but he actually ended up speaking to me and not sarah, saying my hair looked really nice, stroking it, commenting on my nails saying they looked pretty (just an excuse to hold my hand to see what colour it was) and sat really really close.

i really like him and i think he likes me back but i'm not sure if this is gonna go any further. I would love to go out with him but i spose im too shy, any advice on this? Do you think he likes me? All comments muchly appreciated!! x

just flirt back.

he'll ask you out when the times right, don't frett too much.

either that or just ask him " so when you taking me out".. that shoudl give him a big enough clue

baybee-x-sparkii agony aunti dont think its being shy, you may be wary. get to know him is the best bet and see where it goes from there, without things in common you have a slight problem. and your shyness...well everybodys shy now and again just do what feels right

hope this helps
