Its impossible to spot burn like IDontLie said. The only way to get rid of fat is to burn up more calories than you take in. If your body doesn't get enough calories, it will start burning the excess fat. Unfortunately, that means going on a calorie controlled diet. I got this all of my muay thai instructor who also works as a fitness trainer so I think its pretty reliable info and it did work for me

To have a firm stomach requires two things :
(i) that the muscles are not covered in fat
(ii) that the muscles are nicely toned
You can do the latter with various ab exercises - maybe have a session with a personal trainer to show you a variety of exercises. Pilates is really really excellent.
Sadly, the first requirement is a little harder - if you have excess fat on your stomach, you will have to lose the fat. As "I don' lie" says, you cannot choose which fat you lose when you lose weight - your body decides where it likes to store its own fat. But losing fat overall is what is required. To do this, you need to eat fewer calories than you expend. So you eat less and / or move more - e.g. running, cycling, aerobics etc.
You mentioned that you cannot run. But you can cycle, use the various training machines in the gym, e.g. ski-er, rower, you can swim, you can ice skate. Plenty of actitivies to suit anyone.
Eating fewer calories is just as effective to reduce stored fat as exercising, so even if you were unable to exercise at all, you can still lose fat.

Its impossible to spot reduce, and what you're thinking of achieving is exactly that. Your body loses weight overall, it doesnt choose certain parts to shed weight, just cause you did an extra 100 crunches today. I would suggest still doing crunches daily, at least youre still getting a mild workout.

well sit ups would be the best idea.. lie on your back with your knees up start with your arms by your stomach and as you sit up move them up your legs.. anoter alternative is lie on the floor with your legs on a chair or bed and sit up.. its lots easier and works better. im not sure about the man boobs.. and i cant tell you how long it takes.. but the change is not going to be immediate
