I would have loved to have worked things out with her but she didn't give me the chance.

A male United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hello

I really like this girl, and recently we had a relationship but it lasted for about 3 weeks.

We were having a good time together, but two people had always got in the way.

I trusted her a lot, but I didn't trust them both, and this was affecting our relationship, and would cause some arguments and unhappiness.

In the end though, she finally finished with me because she couldn't go on any longer.

I've still been a great friend to her after the split and made sure she was happy and have been there for her, but for some reason tonight, the past was brought up.

I asked why we broke up, but she just said that it didn't work out. So I asked why it didn't work out and she said the same thing, but no reason.

I would of course have helped work it out, but she just didn't give me the chance.

Any advice or suggestions?

Just because you were willing to work it out doesn't mean she was willing to let you. Maybe it was her way of saying she didn't want to be with you anymore. Now that you are through, you can move on, and hopefully find a girl that is willing to let you help solve the problem.
