He lives two hours away from me and he's a cop at the weekend. we hit it rite off talking etc he asked would I go home with him and I said I'm not into one night stands. When he heard this he was a little surprised but asked me to go on a date and I said sure so on Sunday he texted me asking how I was etc then nothing. I text Monday hey and he said he was up to his eyes at work and he will text me tomorrow, which I never responded. last thing on his mind but aways heard nothing back. Two days later so I send him a text say I'm might be free at the weekend if he wants to do something. No response I really like him is there anything I can do or is it done and dusted? kKinda gutted because I would have loved to go on a date with him

In online dating in my experience when people lose interest in you for whatever reason they drop the contact or let it fizzle out.or make lame excuses not to contact you 'I'm too busy' would be classic. Personally I would not have text anymore after that! Don't send anymore messages to this guy and don't feel bad about it either at best he is flaky at worst only interested in sex. Doesn't sound so great to me.somebody else will be a lot more keen and interested in the same as you- Next!
