Most girls who are my age or a little younger are either at uni or going to uni in a few months.I'm not looking to settle down and no matter what happens with girls I'm still focusing on my career and personal stuff (getting a decent car, place of my own, friends etc) but it doesn't mean I wouldn't like a girlfriend; its just proving difficult to even start that.So, where are some good places to meet people in my age group? Bear in mind I don't mind meeting new people in town on a night out, but not so much romantically, i feel a its a bit too easy and never leads anywhere.

Depends what you mean by "nice" GF. If you mean conservative and traditional, chances are you wont find her in a bar. You may do better at church groups and the like.
