On this visit we made love for the first time ever. We email and telephone regularly now that I am back in my country. I am 40 and he is 42. I am in a long term relationship but he is still single. I know its terribly wrong what I have done but the attraction between us is so strong its unstoppable. We have both pledged never to tell anyone about this. He is always saying things like 'youre such a sweet girl' and 'youre a good girl'. I wonder whether this situation has the potential to become terribly messy, or will it be ok? Am I a very bad person for doing this?

You cheated, so in that respect I think you know what you did was wrong. You don't need to ask us. If the attraction between you two has always been strong and unstoppable, I wonder why you have never had a relationship? Maybe something to think about.
