A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

HEY!

Okay i need some help..

I have an extremely bad relationship with my dad and hes never really been much of a dad to me to be honest.. Then comes along this dude whos like the perfect father figure to me.. Hes been more of a dad to me in the past 5 years iv known him, than my dad has been my whole life. His daughter and me are like sisters too and they call me one of the family. The dudes always like 'your my daughter' and treats me as if i was. And i love that! I just really want to be part of their family but i know i never can be. (i forgot to mension my dad and mum are split up). But i love my mum too of course, i just wish somehow i was like part of both familys.

I hate it though because the dude has to back off because of my dad, WHO ISNT EVEN A DAD TO ME ANYWAY! and its so irritating..

I just dont know what to do..

Any sujestions?

Thanks!
