Even though we were getting along well yesterday and he said that I needn't bother - I booked into a hotel last night, I didn't text him and I gave him his space.I think it may have been our first night apart in over a year and I know this is silly but I didn't get a good morning or a good night text, does this mean he didn't think about me at all? It's just that even when we are together I get a good morning hug and kiss and at least a kiss at night?

He was just enjoying his space and giving you yours.
It is what happens next you should focus on
