I was at my prom and saw a girl that was crying and asked her to dance and she said yes. I asked he why she was crying. She said her date was being a jerk so she dumped him. Do I have a chance with her?

Bev Conolly agony auntI totally agree with Blightybloke. :-)

You sound like a sensitive and thoughtful young man and you helped a girl who was disappointed and hurt. Even if she doesn't recognise your personality traits in exactly those words, she's already got a good feeling about you.

Take a chance and ask her out. I bet she'll jump at the opportunity.

Well she at least danced with you! That's got to be a good first step surely - besides, do you really want to turn around at 70 years old and say to yourself ' I'm glad I never asked that cutie at the prom out, what if she said no? ' - go on, son, ask her out !
