if you want to wear a thong, buy a cheap one and try it out. no1 can tell you if it's comfy or not, because we all like different things. but if you are straight i dont no many girls that would find a guy in a thong as a sexy turn on. i'd be worried if my guy came in with a thong on. but each to their own i guess. why do you want to wear one anyway?

 The only way you will find out is by trying one on. It is a personal choice rather than gender dictating what is comfortable.
Personally, I do not find it very comfortable or sexy.
Regardless what type of underwear you decide to use, being clean or not is another issue. Carrying wipes should help.
As to releasing gas, it is the same effect as wearing any other underwear, if you do not make holes on your pants normaly, the thong should be safe from bursting.
