Question - (8 November 2008) 1 Answers - (Newest, 10 November 2008)
A male United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

I have been hanging out with her about 5 months now. For the last 6 weeks i have been renting a room from her. I am 28 she is 35. We have become very good friens over the last 6 weeks but im falling head over in Love with her. She tells me (when we are joking) that she wants to get married and have someone take care of her. Everytime she says it I want to stand up and apply for the position. I enjoy every single moment we spend together but she has told me Im a good "friend" but she also drops little flirts on me too. I work 6 days a week and she brightings up my day when i see her or talk to her no matter how my day is going. We are both plagued with bad relationships but I know in my heart we would be happy together. I want to tell her how i feel about her but i dont if I should tell her or how. Please help....

She could be testing the waters to see if you think she's Too Old for You. Us-woman can be very self conscious about our looks and she might be thinking of the future if you'll still find her attractive. I know it's shallow, but it's a thought. It's just not fair, men get character lines, women get wrinkles...:)
