Yes England is easy car or ferry, possibly head north for quick accomodation and employment in seasonal jobs. A town prob better than city to start with. campsites bar/ cleaning caravans/ waitressing/entertainment/a real quick and no fuss way to get a job often on the spot... no faffing about with waiting for references etc and 'some' pay weekly. This could help you while finding your feet. You may find they have play area facilities for kids, fully covered by staff.

reader, anonymous, writes (23 July 2011): it is easy to drive to england but it'd be better if you could ask a family friend or anyone who lives there to take you in while you get sorted because it's a bit hard to find proper accomodation and get a job in two days.
