A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hiya,

I wrote in earlier this year (few months/weeks back) to ask for peoples opinions of whether or not i should meet this incredible man from belfast. I am 17, and i live in glasgow. He thinks i am 21 however, but we really do get on great, we speak on the phone all the time, he is constantly on web cam for me, so i know wht he looks like, we talk about deep deep things, I have been speakin to him since March now and we have admitted to each other that we fancy one another alot.

I think he is truely genuine, I dared him to say hi to his mother for me and he put her on webcam! lol

We've had cyber sex and we know everything there is about one another. I had a boyfriend, but, i broke up with him for this guy as i made plans for him to come over and he should be over in about feb.

I told him that I wouldnt sleep with him on the first date as its extremly slutty if i would :O

At frist, i told him I would as we jst started talkin about sexual fantasies and wht not. and I told him that he better not disapoint me on the first night ... i know, but we were both being cocky on the net were jst so into one another.

So after i told him i wouldnt sleep with him, he said its fine and that hes not gonna push me into anything.

Then after teasing me last night i said tht i wasnt sleepin with him til the 5th date! He said he didnt care, he would force me into anythin nor would he try anythin when clearly i didnt want it, and he said that we will jst go with the flow with things.

he reckons that we will jst meet up and make fun of each others accents (as i do that on the fone to him quiet alot)

He wants to meet in a public place, like the city centre and to go and get a drink to know each other then he is takin me back to his hotel to prove a point to me ... (private joke between us, he wants to prove that you can ask for absoulety anything off of a hotel and get it, I dont beleive him, surely there a limit lol)

He was also askin me wht hotel he should stay in, and i said it was up to him as itll be his money and him who will be stayin there, then he said tht itll be the two of us, and i asked him if tht would be werid like stayin over and not havin sex? and he said it wouldnt and if it felt werid or uncomfortable ... and i said ok.

I reallly like this guy, at first it was jst a bit of banter on msn, but then we both started feeling likek this towards each other ... I really like him...

I want to meet him, do you think i should?

I honestly dont think there is a problem or anythin dodgey or worryin about this man?

if you could answer this question it would be much appreciated

thanks

x

A male reader, Griffo Australia +, writes (29 December 2008):

Griffo agony auntyeah, just meet him during the day ask him to come to you and go to the park or a coffee or something in the day time around people and just chat so you can get to know him on a more face-to-face level. He will make the effort to come see you for a while.

Once you've become comfortable then let it grow :)

Good luck!
