A female United Kingdom age 41-50, anonymous writes:

Hi I’m 25 my husband is 61. The problem is I only married him on the rebound trying to hurt my ex. I only ended up hurting myself, as me and my ex have been in touch and finally admitted our feelings are mutual and we were both young and naive. I currently have my mum living with us whom is very ill. I have discussed on several occasions with my husband about children only recently he told me if I want children to leave him. So I said that I would have to keep the property as my mum is seriously ill and needs a stable home, he says I won’t get it as he got it on medical grounds which I know to be untrue the problem I’m having is I want to leave and A) I don’t know how to tell him and B) I can’t risk losing my property to him as it could damage my mum’s health further he is fully aware of all my mum’s illnesses too
