We split five years ago and one year later we began hanging out again but he would not take me back. Two years ago he moved in with Leigh, a good male friend of mine. Leigh and I had an ongoing flirtation, and Andy asked him to stop being friends with me as he had realised that he (Andy) was still in love with me. Leigh agreed.Andy then went overseas and is due to return at Christmas. During his travels I resumed my friendship with Leigh, which became more than friends casually for a few months (this has ended).Andy is likely to socialise with Leigh again, as they have many mutual friends. There appears to still be some bitterness between them, which may be partly related to me.My question is how do I find out if I have a chance with Andy, or get over him forever, given that Leigh is likely to try to keep me away from him by not inviting me to parties etc, that he attends. Even after all this time I can't get him out of my head.

Trying to get Andy will result in disaster. You need to move on with someone outside of Andy's orbit. The thoughts you have of Andy are not in his mind.
