reader, anonymous, writes (21 August 2007): You sound as if you might be becoming bisexual although you are so young and it might be your hormones messing you around. Don't kiss your best friend as there are so many reasons why you shouldn't:-
-If your boyfriend found out about your kiss with your best friend (if she does kiss you back) then he'd be hurt by your betrayal.
-Also (following the first bullet point) you would be the one responsible for ruining your best mate's relationship with her boyfriend.
-She might be so shocked my you wanting to kiss her that you might break up a great friendship
-You've made it obvious that you don't have any feelings towards your friend whatsoever (despite wanting to kiss her) and so it wouldn't be fair to hurt your boyfriend over what sounds like 'experimenting' with girls.
-If your friend does have feelings for you she is going to be hurt if the two of you kiss only to find out that you don't fancy her or having any feelings for her.
I could go on but you get the message: DON'T EVEN GO THERE. By the sound of things it seems like you are having problems with your boyfriend. Don't feel tied down and feel like you have to be with him. I think that you should dump him and have fun.
