 She might not think you see her in that way therefore didn't see going off with someone else as a problem if shes thinking you just see each other as friends or you could be right and she might only see you as friends.
Only way to find out is to talk to her, if you don't want to go that far to start with maybe test the waters a little bit first, see where she sees the situation etc.
