Can you not just go back to the same clinic? If not are you old enough to arrange your own doctor at 18 in Uk you would be but I dont know about where you are.
Asking your mum is hard I remember sitting up late one night watching a film with her trying to pluck up the courage (I was 16). Right as the film finished I blurted it out and she said for goodness sake why didnt you ask me earlier Im off to bed now and walked off!! Bless her she took me to the clinic the very next day though.
If you get a doc explain what happened before and make sure if it happens again you go straight back to get it changed, not all pills will have this effect on you.
Dont be worried about talking to your mum, she should be proud of you for acting responsibly and you are over the age of consent x Good luck

Your mum will most likely be ok with it. Just sit her down and let her know that you want to go on the pill - give legitimate reasons, such as regular periods, protection from pregnancy, etc etc.
Your mum will also probably be able to direct you to a decent doctor. If not, have a hunt through the phone book, or ask around and see who people recommend.
There are a many different kinds of pill available. If you're unsure of the one you had last time, perhaps try asking at the clinic where you got the last one - they'll probably have your prescription on record. Once you find yourself a doctor, let them know te last one you used, and ask him/her about the different kinds available. Find out the pros and cons of each one. You may have to try a few different kinds, but there should be one out there to suit you.
Good luck!
