thats_not_my_name agony aunthey! whenever i have 2 get someone special a gift when i don't have money i either frame a picture of us together and maybe you could get a frame tht you could decorate? or you could get a notebook and make him a scrapbook of all the special times you've had. or maybe make him a CD of all his favorite songs, or songs tht remind you of him. hop i helped and good luck! :) xxxxxx

At this stage I'm sure he'd appreciate something with more sentimental value. What about getting him a nice frame with a picture of you two back when you started dating? Or maybe make him a mix tape?

Hey!

Hand made presents are always special! Sweet, personally made and free-he'll love it!

Do you like poems? Or does he like poems? You could write him/find some poems that describes how you feel? Add the poems to a scrap book (whatever kind of book) and add comments to it. =) Add some pictures and photos of you guys in there that are worth remembering and sharing and also comment on those.

Another suggestion is a glass of origami? Ie of handmade origami stars, hearts, cranes, turtles etc. You can search it up on youtube and they teach you how to make a specific one. put them all into a clear glass jar - it's beautiful! You could even write a letter to him?

One last thing - do you know how to knit? A handmade scarf would be nice too.

If none of the above is do-able, you could always cook him up something, brownies..cakes..cookies..or even a candle light dinner!

Hope that helps!

x..BabyGirl..x agony auntWell the first anniversary is paper. So you could make him a card. You don't need money to make it special for him. Cook a nice meal with candles and make it romantic for you both. It's nice and doesn't take a load of money to make it really mean something.
