Jamer70 agony auntOn the last day of school most kids will jump into photos that people are taking. No one will think you are a weirdo. In fact i you ask they will love it as like kenny said school is some of our best days. Also i bet there will be a least a dozen other kids doing the very same thing. Take the photos as its great to reminisce about days gone past

Ask them, politely. Usually, adolecsents understand the meaningfulness of having pics taken for the sake of 'great class memories'. It's a good opportunity for them to mug it up and have some fun. Try not to worry about what others think of you. Tell them you are putting together a class memory album and you want pictures. Then let them decide whether or not, they want to be in the photos. Suggest group pictures. Two or three people together or a whole class pic. Just have a good time with it and if some say no, don't take it personally. Good luck.

you'll find most people will jump into a pose as soon as they see a camera anyway.

they are only going to think your weird if you start acting weird about it like you are doing now!

there is absolutly no shame in wanting photos of people that you've spent alot of time with, and for the most part grown up with.

A reader, anonymous, writes (24 June 2007):

No reason for you to be classified as "weird." You don't need to feel awkward if they say "no", everybody has its own sense of intimacy. Some may think they're not photogenic, or may simply not be in the mood for photos. I'm sure you'd be hesitating too if you looked dishevelled!

They're more likely to answer yes if you ask for a group photo, I believe. But your real problem is you worry too much what others think of you.

You needn't plan these things. Be more sure of yourself, too many what "if's." If it's the last year together, you can suggest multiplying so everybody gets to have a catalog...

kenny agony auntThey say our school days are some of the best years of our lives. I don't think they will think it is weird if you ask for a class photograph, its is something you can look back on in years to come. Go on ask your class, i bet they will be flattered to have their picture taken.

Good luck x
