A female reader, QueenB75 +, writes (20 October 2005):

You might be surprised to know that there are Muslims that are in fact Christian, but if she's devout Christian then she's faced with having to marry someone of the same faith. If she loves you then look at what's keeping the two of you together, if your religious background was such an issue she would have left a long time ago, but she's still with you because she loves you. Society has put a stigma on everything including interracial dating and interfaith relationships, but you need to go with what your heart says and don't let the outside world dictate your feelings towards your relationship.
