writes:I have had a crush on my best friends brother for some time now and he calls me honey n sweetie n his poppet wich means love or darling and I think he knows I like him but idk...my cousin tells me he is a loser and I don't beleive her and he says he's been on drugs and been drunk in the past week ,I dearly care about him and he knows I would do anything for him but he seems to keep to many things from me....tomorrow we r going camping so I'll have time alone with him and my question is how can I get him to open up to me and how can I finally get him to ask me out;I know that had nothing to do with it but idc Please anybody help

 I'll answer in two parts:
1. Don't discredit your cousin's report on his drinking and drug use. These are serious potential character flaws that should be considered deal breakers to you having a relationship with him. Do your own research, and when you do it, pretend you're trying to protect your best friend or sister from someone who could hurt them. That way, you'll take off your rose-colored glasses when it comes to this guy. Trust me - those infatuation feelings aren't worth getting together with someone with serious issues.
2. If this guy is in fact a good guy (and I mean it when I say to do your research on the guy), why don't you ask HIM out? Why wait for him or try to get him to ask you out? Ask him out!
