A female , anonymous writes:

i need help. i love this guy that i met at school. when he asked me out at school i turned him down, i have regretted it ever since. then in january, we finally got together, although it only lasted for 2 weeks as he said he still felt for an ex. it was the best 2 weeks of my life and i realised just how much i love him and want to be with him. he now texts saying he misses me but he is with somebody else. how can i win him back? im a great believer in fate, and think if its meant to be it will be. but i dont want to lose him...he is everything to me. what should i do? he knows how i feel, and he does feel for me...i just dont know what i should do

A reader, anonymous, writes (15 May 2006):

Hello there hun,

It sounds like this guy is pretty confused. He was with you and still had feelings for an ex, and now he's with someone entirely different?

Chances are, if he does still have feelings for an ex, it isn't a good idea for any girl to get involved with him because he's still on the "rebound"

When your a rebound girlfriend, it just dosen't work out because in the back of his mind, he still can't get over his ex.

I would wait hun, if he truly does want you back, he WILL come back to you, there is no doubt about that, BUT do not wait around forever for this guy. I know you love him, i've been there and been through all this.

But if he's not going to make a commitment to any girl, you are just going to get hurt all over again.

I believe in fate too, and if it is meant to be, it will be.

Just be patient for a while, let him come back to you.

Take care
