You could choose a day sometime this week, and from that day, from the moment you wake up, refuse to think about this guy any longer. Whenever you do, make yourself think of something else. Spend time with friends or family. Do things. If you have the money, buy some new clothes. Get a new hair style. Go out of your way to move on from this past relationship. Stay hopeful that in the future you will meet a great guy who will treat you how you really want to be treated.

 Sometimes men just say they love you to manipulate you into doing what they want...sex, running errands...whatever. Basically people show you how they feel through actions not words and he left you. You may really like him but things have changed and it is time to move on...there is no point hoping he will come back, it is time to find someone who treats you nice.
