I wake up and can't remember if I'm at my boyfriend's house or at my house!

This may be a weird question but here goes.

So the background info is that I've been with my BF for 8 months, we're sleeping together but I never stay over at his, I always go home. My parents don't approve of me sleeping over...and yes I know I'm an adult, I can do what I want, etc but that's not the issue here. I like going back to my own bed.

Anyway, often, after spending time with him and being in his bed, I go home and go to bed. I then wake up in the middle of the night and for a few seconds not know if I'm at his or if I'm home. Sometimes I think I fell asleep at his and I freak out. This doesn't happen often but it has happened a number of times for me to wonder what it's about.

Sometimes when we're in his bed and it's so comfortable it'd be so easy to just fall asleep and stay. Is this waking up and not knowing where I am just my fear of falling alseep at his and then having to explain to my parents? It's so strange.

Laura1318 agony auntIt is possible that the fear of over sleeping at his place could cause you to have those feelings.

You can wake up and momentarily wondering whether you are at your b/f's place until your eyes register the familiarity of your own room.
