The question is... Would you rather be considered the nerdy/weirdo person, or would you rather be considered the person who gives in to peer pressure easily? I went through this same situation a few times, actually, and all the times I went through it, I stayed with what I thought was right. Sometimes I left the kid, maybe because he was TOO weird, or because I didnt like him/her, and other times I stayed friends with him/her and things got better and they started hanging out with me and my friends.If you really want to be friends with that kid, dont ditch him just because your peers believe you're a nerd/weirdo too.
