I have only known him for about a year or so, whereas I've known her for five. The reason I told the other friend was because I talk to him all the time and we've grown really close. But with my best friend, well, I've kind of lost touch; we don't talk as much anymore. So my question is this: is it right for her to be mad at me?And my second question: how can I get her to forgive me?

she has no right to be mad at you. its your secret .. your choice who to tell it to. if you felt closer to your other friend than u felt to her then shes got to learn to live with that, things cant always be how she wants them =]
talk to her. explain how u felt and that you didnt mean for her to feel as though he had taken her place. you just needed to tell some one and he was the one you felt closest to at the time.
good luck.
