We have our ups and downs(kind of a long distance relationship)... yesterday we got into a fight over a stupid thing, that turned into something huge... i told him i wanted to break up, but deep inside i wanted him to tell me be calm and think abot it clearly... though a couple of times he said are you sure you want that... we were having this fight over the phone, so when i came to hang up, i realised that it is over, and that he was ok with it... but i didn't want to break up, it was just me being angry who was talking... so then i told him that i want to talk to you today, he said no finish all the things yo uwant to say today... i told him no, tomorrow becuase i have a lot of things to say( and he has to go to bed to get up early the next day)... so what do you think i should do... this is not the first time, anyone of us says we want to break up... do you think i should talk to him today, or not?! we have been through a lot, for neither of us it is an easy life... so what do you think i should do, do i talk to him and try to resolve, or do i go on with this relationship! plz help! any advice?! thank you

reader, anonymous, writes (22 March 2012): Think about it, and make sure you are really really sure you want to get back with him, then call him in few days and ask him to meet up and talk to him face to face.
I learnt not to argue over the phone, email, text. We say things we do not mean. It took me years to learn not to break up over the phone.
If he has feelings for you he will meet you.
