Just give him some time, he's probably afraid that if something goes wrong with the relationship that you two will lose the great relationship (friend wise) that you seem to have.
He probably does share your feelings, and is just trying to decide on what to do. I've seen it many, many, MANY times. So, give him his time, but don't let the topic go for TOO long, or he may think that you've lost interest.
Give him hints that'll let him know you still like him, but not so forward that it'll scare him off. See how it goes, and best of luck!
And as the previous answerer said, think positive!

reader, anonymous, writes (15 September 2006): Well, when i first told my boyfriend that i really liked him, he also sent me a message back saying he didn't know what to say, but told me he felt the same. We've been together a few months now!
So think positive hun! I think his response was him being more shocked and flattered more than anything, and he probably feels the same way about you too. Have a talk with him and ask him, your sure to find out one way or another!
