A female United Kingdom age 30-35, *pendy writes:

What am I going to do?? i lied to my boyfriend.

omg i've been with my boyfriend for 3months now and i love him soo much and he says he loves me too.

But today i told him I am actually 20 and not 21, like he thought i was.. and he's now really upset. He swore at me called me a ******* liar and asked me what other things am i lying to him about and that i probably lied to him about my exes and all.

But i don't think telling him my real age was that important and now i think he might dump me.

I've said am sorry and that i love him but am not sure.

what should i say to him? he's such a nice guy and I am Truly sorry...i don't want to lose him..please help?

thanks..xx

A reader, anonymous, writes (6 January 2011):

He sounds like he has anger issues. Saying you were one year younger is not a big deal at all and him swearing at you like that is just pathetic.

If you were under age and didn't tell him then that would be different but being 20 not 21 is not an issue.

You say he is a nice guy but i would be wary because if he gets so angry about something as minor as that then what else will he throw a temper tantrum about?

Life's too short to spend with people with anger or control issues and i would think twice about investing your emotions in to someone like that.
