 I had an ex that ended up with a nightmare of a woman. She was 33, 10 yrs older than him, but treated him horrendously. He would ask adbice but still take her back numerous times. I stopped getting involved in the end.
I dont think there is anything you can say to him because he will do what he pleases at the end of the day. In some ways thats a reflection of the sort of person he is, not just the sort of person she is.
We are all in control of what we put up with ultimately.

Tell him to tell her to make her mind up once and for all or to leave as she's hurting him.
Why can't he leave her?
Does he not think he's good enough not to be treated like crap?
At the end of it all, if he stays and lets her get away with it all then she's going to keep doing it.
