writes:Okay, here's my problem.... I think my social studies teachers wife who is a math teacher hates me! She glares at me when I talk to her husband.... No matter what it's about! Once i saw her waiting by her car for her husband to come out and I smiled at her and she gave me this dirty look! My social studies teacher is one of my dads close friends and he and his wife are coming over to my house next week to hang out with my dad! I don't know how to clear things up with her and I don't even know what I did! She is also about 4 months pregnant.... Could that make her moody? What should I do? Reply to this Question

reader, anonymous, writes (4 April 2009): I suspect your Social Studies teacher has said something comlimentary about you to his wife and now she seems to be a little jealous. It's given her a feeling of insecurity, especially as she is pregnant and possibly feeling a bit vulnerable and in need of reassurance right now. The best thing is to just carry on as normal like you would in any pupil/teacher relationship. The problem is theirs not yours.
