writes:my ex wont leave me alone... i think he's slowly losing his mind. im 19 and i live alone. we have been apart for about a month, and when i took him i didnt wanna get back wit him he told me if i eva said so much as said 1 word 2 him eva again he'd shoot me in da head. about 20 mins later he came knocking on the door begging to let him in. i stood by the door looking out the peep hole while on the phone with me friend the next thing i know he kicked the door open. the door hit my face really hard and chipped my tooth. when i called the cops he left b4 they got there. i filed 4 a restraining order that night with the cops. he didnt cum back that nite but the next day he text-ed me acting as if nutting happened. i neva responded but even then he sent about 2o texts back 2 back, say how he loved me and how he knew how much i loved him, nd that we would b 2gether. what should i do i a little afraid?

reader, anonymous, writes (6 October 2010): You did the right thing calling the police. Don't go near to or speak to him again, and if he persists in calling you, tell the police again.
If you can get friends to walk you home etc in the meantime that might help, but it sounds like you know how to look after yourself. Well done.

I believe with a restraining order he cannot contact you in any form that includes texting messaging and third party contact. he had already violated the order. Now do what you have to do and be wiser about the next guy.
