A sincere compliment can make a persons whole day!!!
Maybe one is "your a great friend I can trust, and let me be me" Those friends are jewels!

I studied personality a bit and you seem to be sanguine, which is an out going person and your friend seems to be a melancholy which is more shy and tend to like the outgoing personality of the sanguine.
The reason why sanguine likes melancholy is because they listen to the stories you tell them. Melancholy like sanguines because they laugh at their stories.
I don't think there's much that you can do. You could maybe try to be less outgoing but that would mean to change you and if you do, maybe you won't even hang out with each other anymore since the very reason why you are with each other in the first place is because you guys complete each other.
You could start by listening to her more, I know that sanguines talk a lot (I know cause I'm one too).
Now you're probably thinking "What kind of advice is that!" guess it's not really an advice huh? Was trying to explain to you why it's this way between you and your friend. Only by knowing the reason will you find the solution!
Hope it helps, have a nice day! :)
