I think I've upset the guy I've been seeing. Do I try and talk to him or assume we have split?

A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I just graduated and my boyfriend has a year left. We have only been dating 2 months. He returned to school and I am going back in a few weeks to start grad school, since we have only been dating a few months I never told him this was for sure, he kinda just found out when I was moving my stuff into my friends. I dont know if this freaked him out, or maybe he felt I was suffocating him, but he hasnt talked or called me in 3 days and the only text he sent was, "sorry I haven't gotten back to you, hope you are having a good day."

Should I assume he needs his space? Assume We are broken up? Do I try and talk to him about why I didn't tell him I was moving back?

YummyMummy agony auntWhy not call him and speak to him. He may be thinking the same thing about you- the need for space and stuff especially since you didn't share your plans with him.

Explain why you didn't tell him and ask him if he wants space or whatever.

Good luck!
