writes:I have a big problem. There is a girl in my class and I have been liking her for 3 years. I think I love her, and although people adviced me to forget her and get over her, I have not been able to do so.I have been thinking about asking her out, because she asked me out a long time ago, but then I had a girlfriend, so I said no. In the meanwhile a lot of things happened, she dated two other guys and one of them showed everyone nudes that were supposedly hers. I suppose she doesn't know my feelings for her. Should I continue trying to get over her? Or should I tell her the truth and ask her out? Reply to this Question

reader, anonymous, writes (2 February 2014): ask her out! how do u know the pictures are hers? they could be her face attached to a body. a very easy thing to do by computer. ask her, but ask her gently. she may be in shock that her boyfriend done this. she may be shaky to date again.

Well I think the best policy is honesty, and at least if she doesn't feel the same way as she used to then you won't be always left wondering later on if you had asked her what she would say. And if she doesn't feel the same that may enable you after 3 years to start to get over her, but then if she likes you the choice is yours! Best of luck! :)

 if you are not dating anyone and she's not dating anyone, then I think after 3 years of loving from afar it's time to say 'hey do you think we should go out?'
