If this is the case, that he is falling in love with her, and vice versa then unfortunately there is not an awful lot you can do about it. Ask him his feelings, maybe you could be wrong about him liking this other girl, but don't be too upset if he likes her and not you.
You are still very young, you have got all the time in the world to meet someone and fall in love. Go out, enjoy yourself, enjoy being young, and you will most likely meet someone when you least expect it.

reader, anonymous, writes (3 April 2007): Please dont get in the middle, I can tell you from experience it ends in heartache. I was in that exact same spot. And they started dating, and it sucked to see them together. Espically after i tried to tell him how I felt. If they are going towards eachother, let it happen. You will be ok, but if you continue this it will hurt more.
