writes: Hello all agony aunts and uncles- it’s been a while! I am once again asking for your experience and insight, and as always, it is greatly appreciated.Me and my fiancé have been together 13 years. Throughout this time, I’ve always been very confident and assured both in myself as a person and in our relationship. Unfortunately, I’ve lost this trait lately, and have been feeling insecure in our relationship. I’ve mentioned this to him, and he doesn’t know where this is coming from, but has tried to soothe my worries. I know my appearance isn’t what it was when we first got together (mostly just in the face, more wrinkles, and typical aging stuff). I’m also having intrusive thoughts that nothing lasts forever, and to prepare just in case things don’t work out. This way of thinking and insecurity is very unlike me- is it just part of aging or a deeper issue? Anyone else experience this. What did you do to overcome it?
