I am believing I conceived when my period was suppose to come the first-second week of February(this month)period never came . I been experiencing the term saying "Morning Sickness" and been feeling nausea\vomiting a lil over a past week now . In the last three days I threw up in the morning , the other times were afternoon\nights . This morning and today I felt fine and did not throw up for the first time . I slept most of the day . And thats my other symptom I been having is tiredness . My uterus feels very firm and am now starting to pay a lil more attention to it and I been feeling stretching on the left side . I took pregnancy tests Monday night on my 5th urine and it came out negative . Re-tested the next day with first morning urine , still says negative . I have taken the recommended home pregnancy test , First Response . I was on yahoo answers asking about this test and some girls\women have taken this test and got negative and found out they were pregnant . Maybe it was too early to test ? Or my HCG levels aren't up there yet to detect any sign of pregnancy . I have not one doubt I am not pregnant . I am 90% sure . I been not feeling myself emotional wise\physical wise . And was hoping I could get some answers here . Can your period be delayed because your body said "Oops ..theres a baby growing here." I appreciate all the helpful answers I get off this site .

I'm also 17 and thought I was just over 5 weeks when I tested but at an early scan it turned out I concieved when my period was due and it was only 2 weeks when I tested. To me it seems like you want to get pregnant, but good luck with whatever the result is :).

To get an accurate result from a pregnancy test, you're supposed to wait 5 - 6 weeks after having sex. That could be the problem.. Or try a 'Clear Blue' pregnancy test, they are supposed to be really good. I saw an advert for one on the TV and it said they can detect pregnancy up to 4 days earlier, and are over 99% accurate. Remember to read the instructions, and do it correctly. I know in some tests you can choose to urinate in a pot, and then dip it in, but it's said to be more accurate if you actually hold it under your urine mid-flow, so try doing this if you havent already. I don't know quite what to say now lol so good luck and if you've got any more questions, mail me :]
