reader, anonymous, writes (19 July 2007): hey,i liked this guy for the whole year. he was with no one. then like 3 days before valentines day he asked some girl out. everyone knew they weren't going to last. he ended up dumping her. for obvious reasons. she was a little to clingy. then the day before the last day of school, he asked me "hey do you know who i like?" i said "no i dont...who???" then he said "ummm...promise you wont be mad???" i said "oook" he said "well really...i really like you" i was like YESSS this whole thing happened over AIM by the way, LOL. now he says he loves me, he's awesome. but goods things will happen if you give it time, he might learn to like you as more than a friend =]

reader, anonymous, writes (7 April 2006): You do nothing, dear. Sorry to say this but when a guy likes a girl, he'll do anything to let her know. Keep being good friends with him and take it slowly. Let him see what a lovely person you are on the inside by remaining mature, caring and gracious. who knows? Many a great love affair is based on the foundation of an amazing freindship. But, hun-you can't make someone like you anymore that they are willing to give. But you can give him a nudge in the right direction, if he takes the clues. Just be you and start dating other guys. You are young, enjoy life and savor the fun of having great friends.
