I think I have OCD. Any advice for me?

im 14 and have OCD if i think of something from the past which was rude, wrong or bad i have to tell my mum otherwise it plays on my mind and i cant eat and i keep feeling guilty. e.g .. my mums boyfriend was standng up on the chair to fix a light bulb and i looked where his belly was showing and i looked away and then thort that i needed 2 look back incase i saw something else. and then i was feeling guilty because id looked. This really ruins my life. I havn't said anything 2 my mum about it. I dont fancy her boyfriend. I don't even want to see anything of his =s... I need help :( !. I have all the symptons of ocd. the aranging things, numbers. That sorta stuff. Ive wanted to go and see a doctor about it but ive never got round to it.

Dont worry, i had the exact same situation a few months ago, I dealt with it by realising that its only myself who actually thinks its wrong, everyone else isnt aware of it, so they dont need to be. Realise that what you did is what you are uncomfortable with, and leave it at that

I had OCD when I was around that age, I wasn't diagnosed, but by reading about it when I was older (Im now 24) I know I had it. I would wash my hands until they bled, and look at things numberous times too. Don't worry, though, mine went away in about a year (when I went to high school). I think I knew I had a problem, like you know you do, and just decided to stop it. Hope that helps. You can change if you really want to.
