I think I am in love and I need help on how to make it happen!!!

I have adored this guy for years and finally I feel like there are some mutual feelings emerging and I know I need to talk to him about it I was just after some tips on the best way to raise the issue with him.

The problem is because we are mates, we often catch up for coffee or a meal together or with mutual friends but its not like a date.

So, I need to talk to him and let him know that I am interested in him as more than just a friend. How do I do this? What are the right words? What not to say?

I think he is interested in me too - he always makes lots of time for me, we always have fun when we are together, some of the conversation has become a bit more flirty lately, we have lots in common etc but I know that he will not make a move first. I know that if I want something to happen, I need to make a move but I just want to hear some suggestions on how to bring it up and the best way to say it.

Thanks!!!

Pull him aside and be up-front about how you feel. Or maybe have a friend ask him how he feels about you. If you need to be the one to make the first move, do it before it's too late and he's lost interest. Now seems like the perfect time. Tell him straigh-up that you have been wondering whether or not you two are becoming more than friends. If it's as sure of a thing as you make it sound, then you two could be starting a happy relationship in no time at all. Be confident! Don't be afraid to tell him how you feel. I hope everything turns out okay. Good luck to you!
