They's a guy who works across from me who I like the look of but I'm to shy to let him know or even smile at him! Every time he looks over I turn away and to make matters worse I confided in a colleague I thought he was nice and she went over and told him. He told her he was gonna come over and have a look at me but she told him I would be to embarrassed. Because of this I feel to awkward to acknowledge him plus I think he's to good looking to even contemplate going out with me, what should I do?

There are no guarantees in life, unfortunately. However, I've learned that if you hold back, you will have to face regrets and wonder what would have happened if?...
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I have known really handsome men who think that they are ugly. For all you know, he could be wishing you would talk to him. For all you know, he could be contemplating talking to you, but deterred by the fear of rejection.
Go for it, talk to him. If he rejects you, we've all been shot down and you can always be his friend. What have you got to lose? You'll at least have an answer.
