 You have done enough to your "friend", leave her alone. Focus your attention on yourself and start trying to figure out why you made such a poor decision in the first place.

 I wouldnt say you are a bad person, but what you have done is bad. The fact that you are remorseful means, in my opinion you are not a bad person, but you behaved totally wrong and if I was your friend, I would never trust you again. Why did you do it in the first place, there are so many other men out there but you went and chose your friends fella, why? He is not inexcusable either, but this is your friend, ask yourself, would a TRUE friend do that? The answer is no. Give your friend some time and space, only time will tell if she wants to forgive you. xXx

 Sorry but if I were her, I wouldn't want you back. That is a stupid thing you did and very selfish. She doesn't need friends like you. You've learned a lesson the hard way so leave her alone. Write a letter of apology but don't bother asking for forgiveness, you just don't deserve it. It's bad enough with all the people quite happy to jump into bed with someone else's partner, but when your so called best friend does it, well it's unforgivable.
