I sent her a Valentine's card and she hasn't replied?

Question - (17 February 2011) 1 Answers - (Newest, 18 February 2011)
A male United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Long story short, met a girl in Uni during the first week in a club. Flirted a LOT, danced to the point we were practically f*kin on the dancefloor. We were SO comfortable with each other it was unbelievable.

I told her i liked her when we were both drunk during the final week of last year and she said we're just friends.

She still continues to flirt. Sent her a Valentine's card and she hasn't replied or said thank you or anything so far. I left my initials so i'm pretty sure she knows that it was me who sent it.

Bumped into her a few times and smiled, but i'm now VERY nervous around her. Like seriously i feel like dying whenever i see her.

What should i do now? Should i text her or facebook her about the card?

We live pretty close to each other (same floor actually)

HELP I'm torturing myself. It's worse as my SSRI's aren't working and anxiety is high atm.

Am i torturing myself or is there a reason for her not replying yet?

aunt honesty agony auntWell am sorry but if you told her last year how you felt and she wasnt interested then it is likely that this girl really does just see you as a friend and she might just be naturally a flirty person. Therefore I think the best thing you can do is accept that she only wants friendship.

Yes you could IM her and ask her did she recieve your card and see what she says from there. If she cuts it short then she is not interested sweetie. The best thing you can do then is accept that she only wants friendship from you.
