A female reader, anonymous, writes (12 March 2009):

Saying 'i love you' is a massive commitment and people are often very careful not to use these specific three words, even in jest, until they really mean them.

Your 'lovelove' would hence not be assumed to mean 'i love you' but would give a softer implication than this more like signing 'with love'.

If you mean it, say it to her in person quite clearly, quite simply.

sorry thought you might be from Czech republic and not get some of the variations of english.

Anyway, just tell her how you feel - talk to her - not txt and look at her. No not there , look at her eyes and tell her. then be quiet and smile.

hope that helps

ArmyMedic agony auntSo you didn't actually say "I love you" you said "lovelove" no wonder she laughed it's as bad as saying "I weely weely wuv wu!"

Don't read anything into it, if you want a serious answer tell her seriously, instead of being cutesy about it!

Ask her about it.If she doesn't want to talk about it dont hassle her. If she didn't love you she wouldn't still be going out with you and she wouldn't be hugging you and kissing you.
